Frequently asked questions
Find answers to common questions. If your question isn’t covered, contact us; we typically reply within one business day.
How can I get a quote for packaging printing?
Please provide the following information via the form on this page or by email: packaging type (e.g., gift box, paper bag, ribbon, label, basket, vase, stamp), finished dimensions, quantity, printing colors, post-press finishing (e.g., lamination, foil stamping, UV coating, embossing, die-cutting), delivery location, and desired delivery date.
If you have design files or reference images, please include them. We typically provide a preliminary quote within one business day; for projects involving complex processes or requiring structural evaluation, we will provide a response within two business days.
Does the quote include design, prototyping, and shipping costs?
Standard quotes generally cover production costs. Whether design, prototyping, die-making, shipping, or special finishing processes are included must be confirmed separately.
Unless otherwise specified, quotes are “ex-works” (excluding shipping); please refer to the formal quotation document for exact terms. If you require pricing that includes taxes, shipping, or delivery to a specific destination, please indicate this when requesting a quote.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
The MOQ varies based on materials, dimensions, printing techniques, and post-press finishing. Standard color boxes typically have a base MOQ; however, we can accommodate smaller quantities for digital printing, small-batch stickers, or projects using specific materials—though the unit price will be adjusted accordingly. Please let us know your target quantity, and we will recommend the most cost-effective production solution.
Do you offer prototyping sampling?
We offer digital proofs, unprinted (white) mock-ups, and full-production samples. Digital proofs are generally used to verify layout and color, while full-production samples provide a result closest to the final mass-produced items.
Prototyping costs depend on the materials, processes, and quantity; for some orders, the prototyping fee may be credited toward the final production cost. Standard prototyping typically takes 3–7 business days, while more complex products may require additional time for assessment.
What is the typical production lead time?
For standard orders, the production lead time is generally 7–15 business days, depending on the quantity, materials, printing techniques, post-press finishing, and current production scheduling.
For projects involving complex processes—such as foil stamping, embossing, mounting, or the assembly of handmade gift boxes—the production timeline will be extended accordingly. We recommend confirming the delivery date before placing your order and allowing sufficient time for logistics.
What file formats are required for design submissions?
Please provide vector files such as AI, PDF, or CDR. For image files, ensure a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Files should include a 3mm bleed, use the CMYK color mode, and specify Pantone codes for any spot colors. Please convert all fonts to outlines (curves) and clearly indicate dielines, fold lines, safety margins, and production specifications. If your files are incomplete, we can assist by reviewing them and offering suggestions for revisions.
Will there be color variations in the printed output?
Minor color variations are normal, as they can be influenced by factors such as the substrate (material), ink, printing equipment, and production batches. We manage color based on your provided files or a signed-off proof. For projects with strict color requirements, we recommend providing Pantone codes or approving a formal press proof.
If precise color matching is essential, please specify your standards during the inquiry phase so we can evaluate options like spot-color printing or a formal proofing process.
Can you provide custom structural designs and dielines?
Yes. We can develop custom structural designs tailored to your product’s dimensions, weight, and the desired unboxing experience. This includes creating dielines, producing prototypes (samples), and optimizing the structure. Please provide the actual dimensions of your product or a 3D model; if you already have a dieline file, please include it as well.
For custom structures, we typically require approval of a plain white sample or a dieline-based prototype before proceeding to mass production.
What should I do if I discover quality issues after receiving the goods?
Please inspect the goods promptly upon receipt. If you identify issues related to printing, die-cutting, gluing, materials, or quantity, please retain samples from the affected batch along with photographs, and contact us within the agreed-upon timeframe.
Once a production-related quality issue is confirmed, we will provide a resolution—such as sending replacements, reworking the items, or reaching a mutually agreeable solution. In the event of damage during transit, please report it to the carrier immediately and contact us so we can assist in resolving the matter.
